Some new patterns!

Fall is in the air, and I just finished these three new Halloween patterns this week!  It's been several months since I've made some new patterns, and I really enjoyed working on these girls! Here is Miss Matilda:

....and here is Wanda:

....and last is Kandy Korn Annie:

All three of these patterns are available on my website by clicking here.

I hope you're enjoying some beautiful early autumn days in your neck of the woods!

Happy Fall, Y'all!

It doesn't seem like fall here...infact, we've been having some unseasonably warm and dry weather here in the Northwest, but it was time to put away summer and decorate for fall!  I love Autumn decorating almost as much as I like decorating for Christmas!  Last week I took some burlap I had lying around, and I made a "Harvest" banner.  It was so quick and easy to make!

First I cut my burlap into triangles.  Then I printed my letters out, extra big.  I used "Priory" font.  I traced my letters onto the burlap, by putting my printed letters under the burlap, and held it up to the window to trace using a big sharpie pen.  Then I painted in the letters.  Next I strung up my banner with a large needle and some jute.  Easy!  I made a few more for my upcoming shows.

I also made an owl picture printed on vintage linen.  (Did you notice it in the upper left corner of the first picture?)  I found a cute owl graphic on Graphic Fairy (click here to see it).  I added the word "Boo" and then printed onto the fabric using the method I described in my blog here).  Fun!  Below is the graphic I used.

In the bottom right of the first photo is my "Halloween Baby" pattern. If you need a quick, Halloween project, this pattern is for you! You can order the e-pattern here:

I've been having a great time lately with the website "PicMonkey" that I recently discovered! This website does anything you want with your photos!  In the photos above I added the dark edges, the spiderweb, and the crow.  I love this website, and plan to use it lots when I take senior pictures soon of my twin daughters!  You've got to check it out here!

Autumn Blessings,
